They ma...It's easy to tear down the track athletes. They make NBC no money, they have no anti-trust exemption, no high-profile union. As a runner, much as a cycling friend of mine has expressed, it's sad to see the shining stars of an underappreciated activity leave the amateurs--we who work our asses off to simply finish a marathon, or ride in the MS150--without anyone "big-time" to look up to. Thankfully, in our sports we respect ourselves, our local peers and our bodies, and the Marion Joneses and Floyd Landises of the world can just sit on it and spin. Let's see the baseball fans (and I'm one of 'em, die-hard) deal as well when the home run king is unmasked in court.
