NAVY 27, AIR FORCE 24

Smitty should be happy. Not as happy as Navy beating Army, of course, but still satisfied with the performance of the swabbies.

Navy had Air Force's number all week. Earlier, some midshipmen "earned the grudging respect of the Air Force Academy" when they got onto the Air Force academy's grounds in Colorado and repainted a jet fighter in Navy blue and gold. They also relabeled the plane with "Navy" and "Blue Angels," according to The Capital in Annapolis.

It's not just Smitty who's pleased about the Mother Lovin' Gut Bustin' Navy victory over Air Force. Bring on those belly crawlin'Army lads and the Navy will mop up.
