Through Monday, Nov. 14, well-known lawyer Robert Shapiro is offering free living wills via his website. He's doing this (and setting up an educational foundation) in memory of his son, Brent, who died recently from a drug overdose.
It'll take you less than five minutes to step through the instructions, specify your directives and download a finished Word or HTML document.

It's very good .. Virtually the same as what I paid my lawyer 100 bucks to do for me ... nice link...
From the Friday Newsleader:
The Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association has sponsored and conducted the Love Them — Don't Leave Them Wondering project, in which members of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association make presentations to many area groups regarding Missouri's health care power of attorney and advanced care directive laws. Those present have the opportunity to execute a document stating his or her own wishes as to who will make health care decisions for them in the event they are unable to do so themselves, and to state their own intentions as to what will happen to them if they are in an irreversibly terminal condition. Literally thousands of people have viewed these presentations. If you desire such a presentation to be made to your group, please call 831-2783.

And it doesn't cost a thing.
While lawyer/TV personality Robert Shapiro no doubt has the right to memorialize his son, this generosity only seems to extend a few days until he decides to switch his Paypal back on. To agree with the above posting, there are ways to get access to living wills for free from the Missouri Bar and the Springfield Bar. Plus, unlike Shapiro's boilerplate, these living wills actually apply to Missouri law.
Check it out at:
www.mobar.org/pamphlet/dpa.htm They even have a version in Spanish so even more people can have access.

It may not be Robert Shaprio, but it still gets the job done.
