CONGRATS, DUANE KEYS

The brain behind Minutia -- you'll also find a link in the CHATTERWORTHY sidebar -- grabs the main art slot on Thursday's Life front in the News-Leader.

The story is about big-screen televisions and the (mostly) men who crave them. Keys does some educating and offers up some snappy quotes ("There's always been a Catch-22 since high definition was announced"). Nice story, and nice job by the Springfield blogger.

Hey thanks! I was hoping that Mike Brothers (of the news-leader) would take the opportunity to share some of my rant about not having HD content from anywhere but KY3 and PBS, but I did enjoy talking to Mike anyway.

So watch out Springfield blogosphere, the local media's reading our blogs! (That's a good thing)
