PULLING A KEVORKIAN

In name and deed, indeed. NBC San Diego reports:
According to police, Sevan Kevorkian's girlfriend found him hanging from a closet rod in his apartment ... last Saturday. Investigators said that after she cut him down and revived him, Kevorkian, 36, started pulling her around the room by her hair.

Police said the altercation was noticed by a man and woman who were pulling up in a vehicle in the neighborhood. The man climbed through a window to stop the assault and put Kevorkian in a carotid restraint, which is sometimes called a sleeper hold.

Kevorkian lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital. Officials said he died a little before midnight on Thursday.
Definitely deserves a Darwin.

You are a sick piece of shit, Ron Davis. Have some respect. A man is dead. Unbelievable how you can make light of this event. You definitely deserve karma.

I agree. Have some decency. You don't know what the situation was and also a really great person is no longer with us.

Are you people new to Chatter???

Good news. You don't have to come here.

The guy sounds like a nutbag to me. In what way was he great? A great big wierdo, maybe.

he sure does sound like a nutbag, but then that's the great thing about the internet you can paint the picture however you want. Sevan WAS in fact a great person with a great heart, he will be missed by our family, rest in peace

Was he from around here or something? was he famous? Where do people know him from?

wow is this what lonely people do for kicks? taking pot shots at other peoples misfortunes? i googled my friend sevan to find out some details.instead i find this loser ron davis' blog. i would wish a karma payback- but it seems to already be evident, spending time posting garbage about people you never met due to the fact that clearly no one cares about your life.

It's not that no one cares about the guys life. It's stange that he was pulling his girlfriend around by her hair. She was apparently trying to save his life. What's the deal? He seems to have some friends who read this blog. Who was he?

ron davis, just report the news, don't make a judgement call on the subject, you didn't know sevan, i did. he was a kind hearted and generous person, we went to ucla together. it is tragic that this happened, i don't know what the reasons are for his death, all i know is that i lost a friend.

Sevan wears his war wound like a crown. And if you go googling for your dead friend's name, you oughtn't to be surprised if you come up with something you'd rather not see. He was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas Day, when the New York Times said "God Is Dead" and the war has begun.

You people should get off the blogger's ass. I knew Sevan and he would be laughing at this. He was a tortured soul, and the world was and IS a better place because of him. If you ever looked into his eyes you would understand why - he was pure love. But he had to move on...

I knew Sevan while I was attending UCLA. He was a true artist. Inspired and tortued. I have been on the internet trying to re connect with him, but only to find out that he has passed on. I think deep down I knew. I am sure he is in better place, but I just wish I could have made contact with him one more time to hear about all his inspirations, his influences, the things that keep him alive. I am sorry Sevan the world could have been such a better place. If anyone want to contact me regarding him please do... I wish I had done more...Peter Sol Rogers email pete@sushipete.com

Sevan was my friend. I have been searching the internet looking for some additional pictures of his art or him that I might find randomly laying around. I sincerely thought about not dignifying this blog with a response. Sevan was pure love, not even an ounce of judgement, brilliance, artistic genius, style abound, inspired yet inspiring. Ron thanks for giving the forum, somebody should've done a much better job of memorializing Sevan on line. He and his family deserve better than this trash. Ron I know your deal, god bless the 2nd amendment, but no where does it say it can be exercised without consequence. Sevan would laugh at this shit. Thank you for touching my life my brother. I'll stand up for your name any day any time any place.

Sevan was hot and sexy. He will be missed...especially by his neighbors!

You guys have every right to defend this man's name from jokes and ridicule, especially if he was a friend or close to you. However, none of you have explained the circumstances and have more or less avoided the reason why this was such a bizarre case to begin with. If you would care to elucidate us. Why exactly was this man trying to commit suicide in the first place and why did he attack someone who was literally saving his life? His violence toward his girlfriend and savior doesn't really jibe with what you guys are saying about his kind and generous nature, unless he was suffering from some kind of mental illness or trauma at the time, in which case I sincerely apologize for making light of it.

Its been close to five years since the incident and Sevan's passing. He had drug issues but was the brightest, kindest and one of the most genuine souls I have ever met.

I don't know the correct term but after one losses oxigen for an extended time & then is resesitated that person will come out of the "coma" with ZERO sense for what has or is going on. When he was found after 5+ minutes and pulled down he would have been in a frantic state with again ZERO sense for anything going on. At that moment this great samaritan neighbor was walking by the window on the street by his bedroom and noticed the frantic screaming coming from the bedroom. Upon entering the room this "hero" restrained him by placing him into a choke hold. You do the math. I came upon this looking for some pictures of his artistic work & am now sadly describing what actually happened 8 years ago. Everything you see in design magazines he was doing 15 years prior. While I wish I had gotten to spend more time with him, the times i did spend with him were all more than memorable. While he had his own demons, he was a man every woman wanted to spend time with and every male wanted to be. He had eyes you could look into and see how loving of a soul he had. RIP Sevan, the world is not nearly the place it was with you around.
