The good doctor Larry flashed this on his site and we couldn't resist. The fey kids at KSPR want an anchor/producer (think model/actress, only poorer) "who compliments our energetic and popular female anchor; someone who loves news and wants to be part of an operation with plans to grow."
The job closes on March 13. The KSPR wigs would like to see your VHS tape. Bring along your reel-to-reel airchecks from radio, too.
The seriously bad part about the position is its description. The "energetic" anchor/producer will be a "big part" of the newscasts, but only if they have "confidence and personality." KSPR claims the "key skills" for the job are topped by the ability to write stories. We think they mean "type."

I've always considered KSPR's local news as the Wayne's World of Springfield's local programming...
Whered Rachel Aram on Fox go? No enough compliments I suppose?
I assume they are talking about Margaret Burnquist... if all they need is someone to complement her, and maybe take her out for some drinks, I think I am more than qualified.
Ah... I guess I meant compliment... they want someone to complement, or compliment... whatever. What do they want? Apparently I would fit right in at KSPR.
The energetic and popular female anchor... who are they talking about? Margaret Burnquist-- yeah right. Does KSPR think if they say it... that will make it true? Margaret is hard to watch on a good day and just terrible on most days. The sad fact is- in the station's search for the perfect person to put with her, we're stuck with all Margaret all the time. Maybe if she wasn't a raging alcoholic- she would make a little more sense on air. (If you think that's harsh- you must not go out in Springfield. Countless times I've seen her stumbling around the bars) The only highlight KSPR ever had was John Brown. Anna Townsend was okay with him, not so much with Paul. All three are better than Margaret. Good luck KSPR!!!!

you need to have balls to face the camera and she has that gut feeling .. I am not a fan/admirer but Margaret is one good anchor/reporer!! Think about what u do.. and what u suck at... then u wud realize...
Margaret lives here in Greenville, South Carolina now, and works for FoxCarolina WHNS channel 21.
And she is HOT!
That's all that really matters, isn't it?
