Sorry to say, Ron... much as I admire Lennon's talent (when Yoko wasn't around, that is), I have to give my Beatle props to Paul McCartney, and a handful of relish to the Ringo's All-Star days.
I was a tad cranky when I wrote that, btw. I just get tired of the endless Cobain revivals... where are the Jimi Hendrix rememberances? Jeez. THAT guy had talent!

I really could give a damn. I get tired of the annual lamenting by Cobain fans, as well as the reminders of Tupac Shakur's demise.
As you said... dead's dead. Let 'em lie in peace.
It is odd, though, that Jimi Hendrix continues to produce new material, and he's been dead a lot longer. ;)
