I have a long list of favorite patriotic movies, including "Victory at Sea," "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and "Sands of Iwo Jima," but Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center" is right up there with the best of them. It is one of the greatest pro-American, pro-family, pro-faith, pro-male, flag-waving, God Bless America films you will ever see.

SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE
Cal Thomas, the conservative writer, has this to say about the new Oliver Stone movie: Stone's movie opens Aug. 9. Adds Thomas: "It deserves an Oscar in so many categories. It also deserves the thanks of a grateful nation." You deserve a drink for having your mind boggled.

When he reads this, Stone will be checking the strength of his own stash.
Yeah ...but I only keep the good stuff around .... the brown stuff never passes my lips ...
Several walk-ons in the film, notably Heston exumed to recite his credo: "There are no good guns, There are no bad guns. A gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing."
Lovey remembers Carleton when he had fire in his eyes.
Say, John... I've a bottle of Jagermeister, and it needs to be consumed. What say?
Craziness.
It all goes brown in the lungs, John.
Pro-male?!?! WTF?!?! How is a film about 9/11 pro-male?!?!
I can't even get myself to watch the commercials. It brings me right back to that morning. I don't care how patriotic it is, it could have Lewinsky making a guest star to blow Bin Lahdy Dodi himself, but it's still too raw.

I used to play matches with the ex-nazis in Ann Arbor at my fav German Bar. The bet was for shot of that cough syrup that the kids love ... I had enough of it when I went to the medical call ...
How about the third paragraph, where he writes, "'World Trade Center' is several stories folded into one." How's about 110 to be exact?
Ouch, that's harsh.
