NEW KSPR DEBUT

The new look for KSPR starts at 10 p.m. Sunday, when Joe and Christine Daues anchor their first newscast for the ABC affiliate.

We hope you'll watch. And be sure to click over to KSPR.com, the all-new (and much improved) website for the station.

Kyle Bosch and Natalie Nunn take over the two-hour morning news show on Monday. Michelle Sherwood starts her weekend anchor gig in the next few days.

Hope you watch, hope you enjoy, hope you approve. Let us know what you think.

I caught a few minutes of the 10:00 and thought it was pretty solid.

The anchor combo seemed to work pretty well, the stories I saw were nicely shot/edited, and it all had a laid-back yet organized feel to it. Cleaner graphics than before as well, IMHO.

I know being brand new in Springfield, my vote probably doesn't count as much as some others on here, but I really liked it.

Hey, Ron!

Congrats on the launch, and good luck all around. But...

When i went to kspr.com, my browser was hijacked by www.errorsafe.com, first by one of those "you computer might be infected, would you like to go to errorsafe.com and scan it" popups, and then, when i clicked cancel, i went there anyway. i finally had to force-quit foxfire.

not your fault, probably, but not a good impression...

I second what oddjob60 said. What's up with that?

I just tried again today, and the site works fine. Thanks for fixing it!

Like a spit shine on an old turd. I watch it just to see Ms. Nunn twirl around. Yipes...
Anyway, nice news set. Not much more info.

Luckily KY3 now has a place to park Michelle. and that Ebay story is getting old, old, old. So what.

Had a chance to check it out last night and had a mixed review.

417 Land? ...411 on 417..... huh.....I guess I need not say it.

anon 10:08 -- I think I know what you're implying. Let me just say that some decisions are made at a corporate level for cross-promotional purposes and can not be overruled by anyone in the news department.

Or do you just have an irrational, intense dislike for Mr. Davis and spend your time looking for anything with which to attack him?

Thankfully "Mr Davis" has a better sense of humor than you...

The newscast is good and upbeat but was upset when I saw the commercial for World Blue Pool. They are a scam and a lot of people have been hurt by them. Hope you get them off the air. They stink and are on several scam sites. Cant believe you actually advertise them.

That is a sales department issue. The newsroom doesn't choose it's ads.
