FRESH HAMBURGERS TONIGHT

You're driving your minivan -- so sorry about that -- along a highway in Washington state. Manna falls from heaven. Or something like that. Reuters reports:
A cow plunged from a 200-foot cliff onto the hood of a minivan on a highway in central Washington state, according to police.

The car's occupants, Charles and Linda Everson, were not hurt in Sunday's accident, but the cow was euthanized at the scene.

"If the cow had fallen a split second later, the animal would have landed right in their laps," said Jeff Middleton, criminal deputy of the Chelan County Sheriff's Department.
The cow weighed about 600 pounds. Mmm. Meat.

Silly city boy. Slaughter weight starts in the high 900's with 1,100 the optimal weight to turn Air Bessie from a flying cow in the past tense into a delicious source of protien in the present tense.

The Amazing Flying Veal?

Makes you wonder what a tipped cow at terminal velocity sounds like?

Veal or steer, it was all ground beef when it landed. (rimshot)

Thank you, thank you. You're a lovely audience.

Sorry, I forgot to add:

Please tip your servers, not your cows.

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

Be sure to try the veal. It's very young tonight.

Thank you, thank you.

HINT FROM HELOISE: Another way to tenderize a large amount of beef in a small amount of time is to use a minivan.

Hey Betty, I think I know your brother: Film.

First white castle hamburgers, then flying veal. Vegetarians are beginning to wonder.

"Bush probably tipped that cow and sent it plummeting to its death. And caused global warming and my latest hangnail outbreak."

There, I just saved someone the trouble.

Smirk.

That smirk makes you look like an asshole - more than you do already.

Admit it, you blame Bush for all your problems. But, hey... vote for yer freakin' socialists, they'll screw it up worse than Dubya ever could.

This is why I don't bother voting for presidential candidates. I agree with the "smirker". It's a fixed game, and no matter who wins in 2008 we'll be just as screwed as we are right this minute, if not worse.
